27 Boko Haram members killed by Cameroon

Cameroon soldiers have killed at least 27 members of the Boko Haram insurgents.

The terrorists were killed in Goshi during an attack in which the military also suffered two casualties.

Capt. Yari Emmanuel, the head of Cameroon’s Rapid Intervention Battalion, was also killed and at least six other soldiers were injured in the operation.

“At least 27 Boko Haram fighters were killed in Thursday morning’s operation,” said Gen. Jacob Kodji, commander of Cameroon troops in the area.
