Though family was yet to reveal the cause of her death, sources said she died after a brief illness in a hospital located in Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode pays condolence visit to 1st Military governor of Lagos, over his wife's death
The Lagos state Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, had paid a condolence visit to the first military Governor of Lagos, Brigadier Generak Mobalaji Johnson(RTD) over his wife's demise.
Funmi Johnson passed away on Saturday night.
