Lionel Messi makes history after netting 300th goal

Barcelona striker Lionel Messi reached another milestone on Wednesday evening as he scored his 300th La liga goal for Barcelona, before netting the 10,000th goal in the club's history.

Messi's record goal, a strike from well outside the box, came in the 25th minute against Sporting. Moments later, Soorting equalized before Messi restored the lead again.

He now has more goals than any other player in the history of La liga.
