EgyptAir Flight MS804 Flight Recorder Recovered From Sea

The EgyptAir flight MS804, which crashed into the Mediterranean Sea on the 19th of May, Egyptian investigators announced on Thursday, that the cockpit voice reorder, has been recovered.

There were 66 people on board flight MS804 when it crashed, while flying from Paris to Cairo.
The Airbus A320 plane vanished from Greek and Egyptian radar screens, apparently without having sent a distress call.

The cockpit voice recorder — which could yield vital clues about the cause of the disaster — was damaged but retrieved "in several stages," the Egyptian Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee said in a statement.
