The Super Eagles striker, who has being in prolific form for MLS side Seattle Sounders, joins a side that already boast of fellow African striker Demba Ba. Martins previously played for Inter Milan and Newcastle in the past and also had spells in Germany, Russia and Spain.
He has scored 18 goals in 41 international appearances for Nigeria and netted 43 times in 84 appearances for Seattle Sounders.
