A UAE police officer from Abu Dhabi was among the 1000 New York Police Department officers who graduated on Tuesday, the 29th of December, 2015 in New York City.
The ceremony took place in Madison Square Garden and the police commissioner William Bratton, acknowledged Lt Hamid Al Nuaimi for his contribution.
The police commissioner said, “There are 1,123 of you. There are 10 members also from the MTA [Metropolitan Transportation Authority], who are part of this class,” he said. “We, also, for the first time have a foreign representative.
“We have Lt Hamid Al Nuaimi from the Abu Dhabi Police force, who attended this class over these last six months with you. “I want to acknowledge him, certainly, for his contribution.”
