First special counters for the disabled opens

Those who are disabled wishing to come to Dubai, can now be at ease as the first special counters for the disabled, opens at Dubai Airports. This will be the first of its kind in the Middle East and also the first in the world to offer special services for people who are disabled coming into the country at Dubai Airports.

The Director-General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, says the directorate aim is to make Dubai a disability friendly city by 2020. These counters will be at each terminal, both in arrival and departure halls, including those wishing to use the smart gate and e-gate.

This is an amazing initiative by the Government of Dubai.
