Breaking: Osun State Assembly minority leader is dead

The Osun State House of Assembly Minority Leader, Oladejo Makinde, is dead. His corpse has since been deposited at the mortuary at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital.

Oladejo Makinde, a member of the People's Democratic Party, died of an undisclosed illness on his 48th birthday.

The Chairman of the PDP in Osun state, Alhaji Gai Olaoluwa described the news of his death as a rude shock.

Until his death, he was the representative of the Ife East Constituency at the house and former Chairman of Ife Central Local Government Area of the state. He was one of only two members of the PDP in the state assembly.
