Enyimba attacked by armed robbers

The team bus of Nigerian league champions, Enyimba FC, has been attacked by armed robbers in Kogi state.

The players and officials were stripped of all valuables but no one was hurt. The team was heading to Kaduna for the Super Four tournament.

A tweet from the club’s official twitter account said, “We can confirm that our team bus was attacked by armed robbers this afternoon in Okene, Kogi state on our way to Kaduna for the Super Four.

“Thankfully, there were no injuries during this unfortunate incident. Players and officials were however stripped of all valuables.”
