Novak Djokovic defeats Roger Federer in epic semi-final battle

World number one Novak Djokovic  is through to his  6th Australian open final by beating Roger Federer  6-1,6-2,3-6,6-3 in an epic 4 sets battle which lasted for over 2 hours.

He now leads in head to head meeting with the Swiss player 23-22.

Roger, has not won a grand slam title since 2012 and has lost five of his eight matches against Novak last year.

Djokovic will the face the winner of the semi-final between Andy Murray and Milos Raonic in the title clash on Sunday.
