1860 Munich majority shareholder and Jordanian billionaire Hasan Abdullah Ismaik is seeking to join the growing list of foreign owners in English football. He is believed to have opened talks with two Premier League clubs with a view to expanding his empire in Europe.
39-year old Ismaik has grown increasingly frustrated with his inability to gain voting control at struggling1860 Munich even though he owns 60 per cent stake in the German club.
The construction magnate was named on the Forbes rich list last year and has a personal wealth estimated at more than $2billion. He is estimated to be the 3rd richest Arab man from the Middle East.
