Serena Williams cruises into the 4th round of the Australian open

Serena Williams is still on course in defending her Australian open title.

She cruised to a straight sets victory over Margarita Gasparyan, by winning 6-2, 6-1.

Serena faces Maria Sharapova in the 4th round.
