Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, has sacked the Secretary to the Imo State Government, Mr. Jude Ejiogu.
This was announced in a letter made available to the Imo State broadcast outfit and signed by the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Pascal Obi.
Governor Okorocha expressed his appreciated to the former SSG for his contributions to the development of the state as an appointee under the Okorocha-led administration. He also wished him success and God’s guidance in all his future endeavours.
There has been no reason given by the government for the decision to remove Mr. Ejiogu from office.
Mr Jude Ejiogu previously served as Chief of Staff to the Imo State Governor, Special Adviser to the Governor on IGR, Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission and Commissioner for Special Duties.
