The 2016 African Nations Championship, also referred to as CHAN 2016, kicks off today the 16th of January.
This will be the 4th edition of the ANC, the biennial international football championship, organized by the Confederation of African Football(CAF) for the men's national teams of Africa.
The tournament will be held in Rwanda, between 16th January till the 7th February 2016. A total of 16 teams will play in the tournament.
Nigeria's campaign kicks off on the 18th of January with Nigeria at the Stade de Kigali Stadium.
