Bayern Leverkusen issues Hands-off warning over Hernandez

Javier Hernandez has been in lethal form for the German side

Bayern Leverkusen sporting executive Rudi Voller has ruled out selling the Mexican striker Javier Hernandez in the January transfer window.

Javier Hernandez has been in excellent form since his £7.3 million move from Manchester United which culminated in winning the Bundesliga November and December player of the month. “Chicharito” has scored 19 goals in 25 games this season.

“We are a football club and i is important that we are successful. Chicharito has played a big part in our success so far, through his style of play, through his goals.

“That’s why we brought him here. In the first half of the season, everything has worked out fine. There are always rumour with our players. That’s just normal in this phase. We will definitely keep the players we need.”

Chicharito has been subject to transfer speculations linking him with a move to English Premier League leaders Arsenal.
