Kendrick Lamar is going to be honored with a key to the city, Compton.
Compton mayor Aja Brown posted to Twitter on Thursday (Jan. 14) that the hometown superstar rapper would be receiving the honor on Saturday, Feb. 13.
Kendrick Lamar responded graciously, including the phrase "HUBLUV," which references Compton's "Hub City" nickname given for its central location within Los Angeles County.
