A woman in Califonia, who gave birth to twins, arrived minutes apart in different years. Maribel Valencia gave birth to Jaelyn at 11.59pm on New Year's Eve and Luis arrived on New Year's Day. This makes Jaelyn the last baby born in San Diego County in 2015 and the first baby Luis in 2016. The couple’s new additions will join their older sister, 3-year-old Isabella.
The births occurred at the San Diego Kaiser Permanente Zion Medical Center, both mother and twins are said to be doing well.
