Priyanka Chopra wins big and makes history

Indian actress Priyanka Chopra has become the first South Asian actress to win a People's Choice Award. Dressed in a Vera Wang sequined gown with shades of gold and silver.

Priyanka won the favorite actress in a new TV series, award for her role as an FBI agent in the U.S. thriller Quantico. Other actress nominated in the same category include Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele and Maria Gay Harden.

The actress shared her excitement.
