South Africa Olympian, Oscar Pistorius, has filed papers to
appeal against his conviction for the murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
A family spokesperson, Anneliese Burgess, told Reuter on
Monday that the papers were filed at 15h00 local time in South Africa.
The athlete, nicknamed the Blade Runner, has spent the last
three months under house arrest at his uncle’s home in a wealthy Pretoria
suburb.
