Guus Hiddink takes charge

Guus Hiddink handled his first Chelsea training session since returning to the club. The Dutch manager who was appointed on an interim basis following the departure of Jose Mourinho. 

Chelsea have had a disappointing start to the campaign with nine defeats in the first 17 league games and the club and fans will hope the appointment of the Dutch manager will turn out to be an inspired choice. 

His job will be to get a group of highly unmotivated players firing again as this season the champions have looked bereft of confidence and ideas.
